Im planning a vacation sometime soon for me and my boyfriend. I was looking at either Cabo or Cancun but any suggestions are welcome. I want to go somewhere where there are plenty of bars and a club in the resort so we dont have to leave but can have a great time. While I want to be able to get drunk and go a little crazy I also want a place that I wont be surrounded by a bunch of insane crazy college kids throwing up everywhere and running around with their tops off hooking up with random strangers. I would prefer an adults only all inclusive resort. Ive never been to Mexico so any information to a place like this would help a lot! Thanks!!
In Cancun, there are scores of all inclusive resorts with restaurants and bars on the property. Riu Hotels are nice.
Price the resorts on Cheap Tickets and other discounters.
Los cabos is better for great bars and fun, Cancun is more for touring in Cenotes, or Ruins. Take a break in is closer to for you Los Cabos is great absolutly great!
Hola. We don’t have very many options here in Cabo because we are very small…we also don’t have any that are adult-only. Also, the only time it is really college crazy is during spring break.
If you prefer all-inclusive with a more adult theme, you may want to look at the Royal Solaris and Crowne Plaza or El Presidente. They are in the quieter part of Los Cabos (the town is called San Jose del Cabo) but they are fun atmosphere and have lots to do, and you can go a little crazy.
Our all-inclusives that are closer to the nightclubs and downtown Cabo are the Riu Palace and Riu Sante Fe, as well as Pueblo Bonito Blanco. While these are also great choices to go a little crazy, they are popular with the college kids around spring break.
From what you have described, I would check out Dreams Cancun. It’s a beautiful resort surrounded by water on three sides. It’s also the only place in Cancun with a dolphin aquarium on site. This means you and your boyfriend can swim with dolphins while on vacation right at the hotel. The service there is also outstanding, everyone goes out of their way to serve your every need, I guess that’s why they call it unlimited luxury. You also mentioned you wanted bars and a club. Dreams has five bars including a swim up bar and a bar featuring live music that is open late night. I hope you enjoy your vacation!
