Did the Mexican Mafia Raid a Vacation Resort and Private Residence in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico Recently?

Someone told me this story was reported on a us tv news channel last week. This did take place at a popular destination resort in . The story quoted that the resort guests were evacuated and not allowed to return for their personal belongings. The private residense was at a gated community where an elderly couple was staying. This does not sound like any raid for drugs or guns to me. The imposters stated their reason for the raids was to protest their anger over the America/Mexico border controversy. The only answer I’ve received sounded like a commercial promotion from Cabo Chick that claims they are the “most richest area” -which, by the way, is probably the reason it would be targeted; the richness is because of American and Canadian tourism, so the Mexican mafia knows where to go to victimize within their own territory boundries. Real answers Please!

My mother lives there and i havent heard a word about it. Im sure it would have been big news down there and she would have told me. The news report must have been greatly over exagerated.
