The only answer I’ve received sounded like a commercial promotion from Cabo Chick that claims they are the “most richest area” -which, by the way, is probably the reason it would be targeted; the richness is because of American and Canadian tourism, so the Mexican mafia knows where to go to victimize within their own territory boundries.
