Did the Mexican Mafia Raid a Vacation Resort and Private Residence in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico Recently?

Someone told me this story was reported on a us tv news channel last week. This did take place at a popular destination resort in Cabo San Lucas. The story quoted that the resort guests were evacuated and not allowed to return for their personal belongings. The private residense was at a gated community where an elderly couple was staying. This does not sound like any raid for drugs or guns to me. The imposters stated their reason for the raids was to protest their anger over the America/Mexico border controversy.
